When I was in Washington D.C. with my dad last Spring, I came across this adorable Italian eatery called Vapiano. Upon entering the restaurant, you were given a swipe card, which you used to track your purchases at the different counters, ranging from pasta to pizza to salad, and upon exiting, you simply handed in your swipe card and form of payment to the cashier to pay for your meal. I absolutely loved the concept and the food!
I was delighted to find out that there is in fact one (only one!) Vapiano in NYC, and it’s conveniently located within minutes of my apartment. I’m super excited to eat at Vapiano again and enjoy their delicious pesto pasta!
